Apple is all set to remove suspicious App reviews
Developers who try to trick the Apple’s App Store ratings system, are feeling the apples wrath, as the tech giant is all set to remove the fake reviews that have been bought online using various market places.
In a case to case basis Apple is removing the fake review and it all started with just a single tweet when an app was reported to have gotten 20k reviews over night as reported by TechCrunch here
In fact whenever Apple notices a fake review it removes the review, as was in the case of a company named Daneco Ltd that felt the heat as the reviews disappeared.
What’s more interesting is that how Apple determines whether it’s a fake review or a genuine one is still not known but Apple does act on it,it is for sure.
It is a very common practice to hire a freelancer to write reviews for your app as it lets you jump your app revenues by thousands of dollars daily.
At the end, it is a good news for all those app developers who play by the rules and let the end users decide whether an app is worth the hype or not.
