How to: Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 Untethered Using RedSn0w [Windows]

iOS 4.3.3 was released by Apple a few days back. Below is the guide on how to jailbreak iOS devices running on iOS 4.3.3 using RedSn0w. This jailbreak is completely Untethered on iOS 4.3.3. Please make sure not to update to 4.3.3 if you rely on an unlock.

First you need to have the following things with you:

  1. iTunes 10.2.2
  2. Redsn0w  for Windows [Download from Here or Here]
  3. iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone, iPod & iPad [Download from Here]

Now follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Connect and Restore/Update your iPhone to iOS 4.3.3.

2. Once iTunes has completed the restoring/updating process, open Redsn0w.

3. Click the ‘Browse‘ button and select the iOS 4.3.3 you downloaded.

4. You will see the screen below when the firmware has been verified.

5. Now check ‘Install Cydia‘ and click Next.

RedSn0w4 How to: Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 Untethered Using RedSn0w [Windows]7. Now Redsn0w will guide you through series of process to get into DFU mode. All you have to do is to follow the on-screen instructions as shown below.

RedSn0w5 How to: Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 Untethered Using RedSn0w [Windows]8. Once you have followed the on-screen instructions, your device will reboot. Redsn0w will start uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel. Just wait till you see the below screen.

    I’ve updated the firmware to 4.3.3 and downloaded the corresponding ipsw, however the redsnow program won’t recognise the ipsw. I’ve downloaded it again and it still doesn’t work and it works with my 4.3.1 ipsw. I did use the downloaded ipsw as my upgrade/restore though, would that effect it?

    First you need to download the firmware and then use Redsn0w. Go to setting and check out your firmware from there. I think you are using 4.3.1 firmware, you haven’t followed the procedure properly.

    i keep getting an error about DFU mode….and i’ve tried it on more than one computer

    To enter into DFU mode you have to follow the instructions as it is. A slight delay will lead to an error.

    I cant seem to get iTunes 10.2.2 anywhere. Does it work with iTunes 10.3.1? Thats the newest. My current version of iTunes is 10.0.2.34.

    what`s up guys, question, once I enter DFU mode I get Fetching Ipad baseband files, please be patient. I wait, but that last window closes and nothing happens, am I suppose to keep waiting or what? my iphone is already on 4.3.3. Firmware 05.16.02, please help.

    yeah, you can use iTunes 10.3.1 too.

    Are you talking about iPad or iPhone, what are you trying to jailbreak ? iPad ?

    I am already jailbroken and unlocked using may 3GS running 4.2 iOS, when I upgrade to 4.3 would my apps, settings, messages, mp3′s, etc. would be erased? thanks..

    back up your device and then upgrade, your data won’t be erased.

    I might sound like a dumbass..but I just ran redsn0w and managed to jailbreak my iphone, but now I get te reconnect to itunes thingy…. but what to do frow there on?
