Facebook 3.4 for iPhone and iPod Touch is Now Available for Download

Facebook has just rolled out their newer version of app for iPhone and iPod Touch. Facebook 3.4 is an improved and refined version of app that has fixed the bugs present in the previous versions. Enhanced User Interface has been added with the ability to ‘UnFreind’ and view map for Places. The following images have been taken from iTunes showing the better UI of Facebook app.

According to iTunes the changes made in this version of Facebook app are as follows:

- Added Map View for Places
- Added the ability to Check in to Events that you’re attending
- Added the ability to unfriend from the phone
- Improved News Feed
- Improved notifications UI

If you already have the previous version of Facebook app on your iPhone or iPod Touch, you can update the app from the App Store. For new users, download Facebook 3.4 from iTunes.
