Firefox 4 to be released on March 22nd
Firefox 4 beta has been around for quite some time now and a lot of people are impressed with the newer and much cooler features Firefox 4 offers and are waiting anxiously for the final release. But the wait is over because Firefox 4 will be released on 22nd March.
The month of March 2011 will be remembered for a long time because latest versions of two big players of the web browser market, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox are released in the same month. Internet Explorer 9 has now been downloaded 2.35 million times in the first 24 hours since its release a few days back. That is over 27 downloads every second, or over 240 downloads every 9 seconds. Now we are anxiously waiting for the statistics for Firefox 4 downloads.
With this news, we believe that the Browser War will be heated once more and we’ll see major changes in the number of people using any particular browser and we’ll be able to determine the Browser of the Future (if there is any).
The Firefox 4 beta came with some really cool features and after a great deal of testing by general public it is time to see what the final release has to offer. Keep in mind that we owe Firefox a lot in terms of browser functionality we are enjoying today by different web browsers. If it wasn’t for Mozilla Firefox, we would still be using that non-tabbed based shitty IE and Google Chrome would not have existed at all.
Firefox 4 Release Candidate is already out there and you can download it or you can wait till next Tuesday and get the final release.
Which browser are you going to use? IE9 or FF4? do let us know.
