Apple Launches MacBook Pros with State-of-the-art Processors & New Graphics
With all the rumors and the leaked specs that created a hype for the launch of the new MacBook Pro, Apple still surprises fans with some additional features. Apple launched the new MacBook Pros earlier this morning, and for the first time Apple has included Quad-Core CPUs.

According to the Apple Store, 13-inch Model will have 2.3 – 2.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 & i7 processor, a 4GB of RAM and comes with a 320 to 500 GB of Hard Drive. The prices of of 13-inch Model starts from $1199.
The 15-inch Model will have a 2.0 – 2.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor, a 4GB of RAM and 500-750GB of Hard Drive. The most surprising thing in the 15-inch Model is the addition of AMD Radeon HD Graphics. Prices vary from $1799 to $ 2199.
The 17-inch Model have a 2.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor, a 4GB of RAM, a 750GB of Hard Drive and AMD 6750M 1GB Graphics. The prices of the 17-inch model is $2499.
The new Sandy-Bridge processors comes with Intel Turbo Boost 2.0, which allows processor cores to run faster if other cores are underutilized. According to Intel:
Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 automatically allows processor cores to run faster than the base operating frequency if it’s operating below power, current, and temperature specification limits.
Apple has also introduced the Thunderbolt technology, according to the Apple’s Press Release:
Thunderbolt is a revolutionary new I/O technology that delivers an amazing 10 gigabits per second and can support every important I/O standard which is ideal for the new MacBook Pro.
According to Apple these Intel Sandy Bridge processors are the ‘state-of-the-art‘ processors.
