Apple to Increase the Display of iPhone to 4-inch
According to a report at DigiTimes, Apple will apparently increase the display of iPhone to 4-inch. This change might be imminent in the upcoming iPhone, which is supposedly an iPhone 5. The increase in display size will allow iPhone to compete head to head with the Android Phones in the arena of 4 to 7 inch smartphones. Though the screen size of iPhone 4 is quite acceptable, but as the Android phones are dominating the market of smartphones Apple may need a bigger screen on the iPhone 5.

According to the DigiTimes:
The component suppliers noted that the production lines for Apple’s next generation iPhone have begun testing, and Apple is interesting in expanding the screen size to 4-inches to support the tablet PC market as the vendor only has a 9.7-inch iPad in the market.
In our earlier post: ‘10 Features you can Expect from iPhone 5‘ we talked about some of the features that we could expect from the next generation iPhone. Among those features Bigger Screen was one of the key arguments. Now the point to talk about is that, if Apple increases the display size of iPhone to 4-inch, will iPhone 5 be able to compete with the current or upcoming Android Phones?
