iPad 2 to Launch on April 2nd or 9th?
iPad 2 is set to launch on April 2nd or 9th according to a German Blog MacNotes.de. They said that Apple is going to launch the iPad 2 on the first or the second Saturday in April. The iPad 2 will be launched first in the US and will sell for the first few months (almost three to six) by the Apple Store only.
According to MacNotes.de:
Reliable sources told us about the upcoming launch of the Apple iPad 2: the first or second Saturday in April will see the first sales of Apples new tablet. The iPad 2 will sell US-only for three months, and Apple Store-only for up to half a year. In July, more countries will follow. Walmart, Best Buy and Co. maybe have to wait until October until they are allowed to sell Apples new tablets.
iPad 2 will be having a retina display, a USB port and a dual camera (front and rear) as expected. As far as the international launch of iPad 2 is concerned, it may be delayed as it was the case with the first iPad.
