Apple TV 2G SHAttered and jailbroken

Now you can install any jailbroken apps on your Apple TV. iPhone-Dev Team just uploaded a video showing that SHAtter can trick the new Apple TV 2G running on iOS 4.1 into restoring to a pre-jailbroken IPSW  from PwnageTool. The iPhone Dev Team hasn’t tested any apps on jailbroken Apple TV yet. Moreover you can also restore your Apple TV to its factory settings. This jailbreak will only work on the latest models of Apple TV, so if you have any old model you should wait until the iPhone Dev Team could come up with some other jailbreak.

Apple TV was released a few weeks before and the shipping procedure has already been started. For those of you who have already booked their Apple TV, you will be getting them from next week.
