Skype gets Multitasking on iPhone
A few months back Skype 2.0 was released with the feature of making free calls over a 3G Network. Now Skype has announced that the iOS application for Skype has the feature of multitasking.
You can run Skype in the background and work on other apps. While you are working on other apps, if you get a call you will be informed through a pop up notification. Beside this if you switch to another app that won’t end your call.
According to iTunes Skype has the following features:
- Run Skype in the background with multitasking in iOS4.
- Receive Skype calls and IM while other apps are running or when your iPhone is locked. You can also continue your call while you switch to another application.
* Multitasking is available only with iPhone 4 and 3GS model.
