Apple unveils iPhone 4

In the past few months there had been so much with the Apple, especially with the iPhone 4G. Apple’s iPhone 4G was found two times, one in San Francisco and few weeks later the other one in Vietnam. All over the blogs people were discussing about the found phone. Some saying that it’s a viral marketing, other said that it’s a strategy to improve the product by taking people reviews under notice. There might be a possibility that Apple did it on purpose, or may have done it by mistake.

Few days ago Apple unveiled the new iPhone 4. This announcement was made by Steve Jobs on the occasion of World Wide Developer conference (WWDC) in San Francisco.

The new iPhone 4 will be available from June 24 in Britain, France, Japan, Germany and US. The prices will be same as of the 3G model which is $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB and will be available in Black and White colors.

Features

MultiTasking

Unlike the previous versions of iPhone this model has the feature of Multitasking. With this new feature you can run different apps simultaneously and switch between them immediately.

Front Face Video Camera

Front Face Video Camera allows you to make video calls. Steve Jobs demonstrated this iPhone-to-iPhone video chat app, which is known as ‘FaceTime’ by calling Jonathan Ive, an Apple product designer.

Improved Still Camera

The new improved camera which comes with 5 megapixels and 5x digital zoom allows you to shoot High Definition Videos and Images. A built-in LED enables to capture images at dark.

Higher Screen Resolution

Steve Jobs said “There has never been a display like this on a phone”. This clearly shows that there would a state of the art display. The new 3.5-inch screen features 4 times more pixels than the earlier iPhone 2G,3G and 3GS.

Longer Battery Duration

Allows you to have 40% more talk time as compared to the previous versions of the iPhone.

According to Apple:

While everyone else was busy trying to keep up with iPhone, we were busy creating amazing new features that make iPhone more powerful, easier to use, and more indispensable than ever. The result is iPhone 4.
